September 30th is National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, also known as Orange Shirt Day. It is a day for reflection and reconciliation to honour those who have been impacted by Canada’s residential school system. Lookout for our fourth day of events honouring this important campaign to raise awareness of residential schools at FIC as well as the Student Portal for ways to get involved and learn more individually and online.

Did you know that there is an Archaeology and Ethnology museum at SFU? Join us on Tuesday, September 20th at 12:30pm in front of the welcome desk to walk up to this museum and enjoy all the amazing and interesting exhibitions that this museum has to offer. This will be a great chance to learn more about First Nations culture in Canada and be involved in the learning and exploring of Truth and Reconciliation.
