FIC Stories
Connecting our Community
At FIC, the diversity of our community is our strength, and many of our stories currently remain untold. Our “FIC Stories” series is a place to come for inspiration, and to learn more about our incredible staff, instructors, students, and alumni. Our hope is that the impact of these stories will resonate beyond the walls of FIC and give all who visit this page a chance to celebrate the unique voices that bring us all together!
We will be adding new features and stories in the months ahead so please check back frequently.

More about Harsh
What are some values that you incorporate when engaging with your community?
Empathy, inclusivity, and determination. In addition, having the essence of inclusivity helps you engage with your community and strengthen social ties. Finally, being compassionate makes you devote your service to your community and work towards sustaining their growth.
In your video interview, you mention starting a non-profit. What has been the most rewarding part of this journey for you?
How has your time at FIC helped shape what you are currently doing?
Working with such a diverse student population at FIC really made me Global in a true sense. Every interaction with a student added a new piece to my knowledge of the world. Also, the more I engaged within the community it made me realize how important it was for me to work in an environment where there is constant learning and a sense of giving back to the community.
As soon as I graduated, I took on the opportunity to return to FIC and work as a Student Success Advisor helping students with achieving their academic and personal goals. I thoroughly enjoy being part of students’ journeys and witnessing their accomplishments along the way. It gives me both gratification and the opportunity to learn from them!
