This soft launch event introduces SFU’s Black Student Centre and highlights the vision behind creating a dedicated space for Black students on campus. Taking place Friday, Feb 6 from 1:00-4:00PM, the gathering will feature student speakers and cultural performances that reflect Black experiences, creativity, and community. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about the centre’s purpose, explore current and upcoming resources, and connect with students, staff, and community members in an open, informal setting focused on community building and support.
