Join SFU’s Department of Indigenous Studies on Monday, November 10th in SWH 9095 for a creative and social gathering celebration of Rock Your Mocs Week (Nov. 10-15, 2025)!

Rock Your Mocs is a global campaign that celebrates the diversity of Indigenous peoples by sharing stories and photos of moccasins. It is a way to honour culture, identity, and community.

What to expect:

  • Enjoy pizza and crafting together in a relaxed space
  • Wear your mocs to show your pride!
  • SFU INDG will provide moccasin colouring pages and colouring supplies
  • Bring your own creative projects – beading, scrapbooking, knitting, sketching, or anything else you love

This is a social event to connect with the INDG community and celebrate Indigenous expression through art and storytelling.
