Moose Hide Campaign Day

Thursday, May 15th, 2025 marks the Moose Hide Campaign Day. The Moose Hide Campaign began as a BC-born Indigenous-led movement committing to end violence towards women and children and has now become a Canada-wide initiative supported by Indigenous and non-Indigenous communities, governments, schools, post-secondary institutions and many other community groups/organizations taking a stand against gender-based violence.

SFU’s Moose Hide Campaign will be hosted at the Vancouver campus. Please join SFU Provost and Vice President Academic Dilson Rassier, Chris Lewis (SFU Indigenous Executive Lead) and other SFU and community leaders in the Harbour Centre Concourse to learn about the campaign and work to address gender-based, sexualized and relationship violence in our homes and communities. Hear from SFU’s Sexual Violence Support & Prevention Office (SVSPO) and Indigenous Student Centre (ISC) to learn about the supports and services offered to students
