Black Expression Open Mic & Conversations

SFU’s Students of Caribbean and African Ancestry (SOCA) invites you to a Black Expression Open Mic Night – an evening to celebrate and learn more about Black voices in a low-stimulation, welcoming space.

This event is all about expression, creativity, and community. Whether you want to share a poem, sing, tell a story, perform spoken words, or simply listen and support others, you’re welcome here! It’s a space to connect, reflect, and celebrate the importance of Black artistry and lived experiences.
