The Bill Reid Gallery in downtown Vancouver features art by world-famous Haida artist Bill Reid, as well as works by other West Coast First Nations artists. Admission is FREE on the first Friday of each month from 2-5pm and free EVERY DAY for students studying at SFU (with valid ID).

Bill Reid Gallery is free for SFU students and the 1st Friday of every month!

The Bill Reid Gallery was named after the acclaimed Haida artist Bill Reid (1920 – 1998) who was a master goldsmith, carver, sculptor, writer, broadcaster and spokesman.

Nestled in the heart of downtown Vancouver, the Gallery is home to the Simon Fraser University Bill Reid Collection and special exhibitions of contemporary Indigenous Art of the Northwest Coast of North America.

The Bill Reid Gallery is Canada’s only public gallery dedicated to contemporary Indigenous Art of the Northwest Coast.
