Join the Advising Team for a relaxed and joyful post-exam picnic, where we'll take a much-needed break from textbooks and screens and just enjoy each other's company in one of the most scenic spots in the city.

Feeling the pressure of finals? Take a break with bowling and pizza! Join us on Monday, July 28 for a fun and casual afternoon of bowling with fellow students. Whether you're experienced or brand new to bowling, all are welcome. We'll be serving pizza during the event, so come hang out, relax, and enjoy some downtime before the end-of-semester rush. Spots are limited - register early to save yours!

Get ready for the biggest Canada Day celebration in the Tri-Cities! Join the fun at Coquitlam’s Town Centre Park on July 1 from noon to 10:30 p.m, featuring multicultural performances, family-friendly activities, and a fireworks finale at 10 p.m. Dance along with iconic Canadian dance band Dr. Strangelove, enjoy diverse food trucks offering various options, and explore cultural acts from Indigenous collectives to Persian pop and Bhangra. With interactive zones, eco activities, and easy transit access, it’s a free, inclusive celebration you won’t want to miss!

Celebrate Canada’s diversity at Vancouver’s largest July 1st event, Canada Together! Enjoy live local bands, tasty food trucks, and an Indigenous marketplace. Witness a special citizenship ceremony welcoming 40 new Canadians. Headlined by Dear Rouge and featured on CBC’s national broadcast, this day at Canada Place and Jack Poole Plaza is all about coming together to honor and share our vibrant culture - no fireworks, just community. Don’t miss it!

Get ready for Burnaby’s biggest Canada Day party at StreetFest! Starting at 6:30 p.m., enjoy live music from Asad Khan, Kaeley Jade, and headliners MAGIC! (yes, the “Rude” band). The festival also features cultural performances like South African drummers and Chinese Lion dancers, plus over 17 food trucks. The night ends with a bang - fireworks at 10:15 p.m.! Conveniently located next to Patterson SkyTrain Station, it’s easy to get there by transit. Free to attend - come celebrate!
