Red Dress Awareness Table

Join SFU in observing Red Dress Day on May 5 from 12:00–2:00 PM at:
  • Burnaby – Student Union Building
  • Surrey – SRYC Mezzanine
  • Vancouver campuses – Harbour Centre Lobby

This day is dedicated to remembering and honouring Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls, and Two-Spirit People (MMIWG2S), and to reflecting on the ongoing impacts of colonial and gender-based violence.

Drop-in memorial and awareness tables will be available at all three campuses. These are quiet, self-guided spaces open to all members of the SFU community for reflection, learning, and remembrance.

Visitors are invited to take part by leaving a small symbolic offering, such as a flower, stone, kind note, leaf, or small painting, as a personal gesture of care and solidarity.
