We understand that for students, the main reason they are here is to study, but participating in extra-curricular activities and getting out and about is important too. FIC encourages you to interact and enjoy your experience at FIC by taking a break from your studies and having some fun by participating in extra-curricular activities. Being involved in non-academic interests, whilst studying at FIC, helps you to develop a network of friends and to broaden your outlook and skills.

FIC coordinates day trips around Vancouver and its surrounding areas throughout the semester. This is a great opportunity for you to see more of British Columbia, meet other students and have fun. In addition, SFU’s student association and staff organize various events and activities throughout the semester. We encourage you to participate and enjoy them.  It's a fantastic opportunity to meet new friends, enjoy wonderful experiences and create some long-lasting memories.
