Study Abroad programs

FIC offers a one semester (4 month) Study Abroad Program for students who are interested in a short-term international academic experience. Students in the FIC Study Abroad Program have full access to all Simon Fraser University facilities and services including on-campus accommodation, libraries, computer labs, recreation facilities, and career services.

Upon successful completion of the Study Abroad Program students have the option to continue to complete the full FIC Pre-university program (UTP I) or University-level program (UTP II). Students who successfully complete the UTP II program and who have the appropriate GPA, will be eligible to transfer to Year 2 of Simon Fraser University’s bachelor degree programs with advanced standing.
