How to apply

Step 1

International students are to complete the online Application form or download the Application form, and ensure that they have read and understood the conditions of enrollment. Canadian Citizens and Permanent Residents are not eligible to study at FIC at this time.

Step 2

Attach certified copies of all academic qualifications including school reports and official examination certificates plus English language test results and relevant employment documents. Please ensure that your current name is added to copies obtained under a former name and that certified translations accompany documents that are not in English.

Copies of documents can be certified by:

  • the official records department of the institution that originally issued the documents,
  • a Justice of the Peace or Notary Public,
  • an authorized FIC representative, or
  • a Canadian Diplomatic Mission or Canadian Education Centre.

Step 3

Send your application to FIC or one of our representative offices.

Step 4

If your application is successful, you will be sent a Letter of Offer for FIC explaining the programs you have been offered, the fees payable and the program commencement date.

Step 5

In order to accept the offer of a place, it will be necessary to pay the fees and charges due. These will include partial program fees (usually one semester), plus medical insurance charge. Payment of the amount due should be made in Canadian Dollars to Fraser International College by bank cheque, international bank draft or ONLINE. Payment may also be made by direct deposit or telegraphic transfer to the following account:

Step 6

We do not accept payments in cash in the FIC office. If you pay by direct deposit or telegraphic transfer, you must provide FIC with proof of payment (such as a receipt). Please quote your student number on the telegraphic transfer or direct deposit. You may also pay by EFTPOS at the FIC office.

Step 7

On receipt of payment, your place at FIC will be confirmed in writing. International students will receive a Letter of Acceptance which you must present to a Canadian Diplomatic Mission in your home country when applying for a Study Permit . Sufficient time for the issue of a Study Permit should be allowed before the commencement of the program. This time frame may vary from country to country.
