The University Transfer Program (UTP) Stage II in Business Administration provides the foundation for further study in many aspects of business and commerce including Accounting, Entrepreneurship, Finance, Human Resource Management, International Business, Management Information Systems, Management and Organization Studies, Management Science and Marketing. Introduction to these many areas will enable you to choose more wisely the area in which you wish to specialize when you progress to the Bachelor degree.

  • ENGL101 – Introduction to Fiction  OR  ENGL105 – Intro to Issues in Literature & Culture (Prerequisite: Open to continuing students only)
  • MATH157 – Calculus for the Social Sciences I (Prerequisite: MATH100 with C minimum grade; MATH151 may be replaced with MATH157)

Mixed Program - Combined English language and academic program

The Mixed Program is designed specifically for those students whose English language proficiency is slightly below that required to undertake a full academic load. This program combines full-time English language study delivered at FIC on the Burnaby campus with two academic courses from the UTP Stage I or UTP Stage II. A minimum IELTS score of 5.0 or equivalent is required for the Mixed Program.
