University designed programs

The University Transfer Program (UTP) Stage I and University Transfer Program (UTP) Stage II programs are designed in consultation with SFU and are moderated by the university.

UTP Stage II programs are based on the first year of the equivalent SFU Bachelor degree program. In choosing to study at FIC, you will be undertaking a UTP Stage II program of the highest quality that is moderated by SFU to ensure the highest academic quality.

Smaller classes

Lectures contain an average of only forty students and are complemented by small group tutorials and workshops. In keeping with our supportive approach, FIC provides more teaching hours per course. Instead of the traditional three-hour teaching block, FIC classes are four-hour sessions. This extra academic contact allows you to fully develop your knowledge and understanding of each course.
