Vancouver

Vancouver is one of the world’s great cities. Uniquely situated between ocean and mountains, Vancouver is Canada’s third largest city and is home to an ethnically diverse population of over two million people.

Recognized as one of the most livable cities in the world, Vancouver is a safe and energetic city of eclectic neighborhoods, vibrant cultural events and unparalleled opportunities for outdoor recreation. Whether you’re interested in exploring the downtown core, experiencing the lively nightlife or attending world-class theatre, music and dance performances, you’ll find countless opportunities to get out and have fun.

Vancouver is ideal for athletic and outdoor pursuits. Ski and snowboard on the North Shore mountains, which are just a short drive from downtown Vancouver and FIC. Or drive 90 minutes north to world-famous Whistler Blackcomb ski and snowboard resorts. Closer to home, you can kayak, row or sail on English Bay. You can also cycle or rollerblade around the seawall or on the city’s extensive bike trails.
